Ported by my own hand [with the aid of a mouse and keyboard] from the Arc S LT18i
I use this ROM everyday on my Ray - this is my share for the community
No patches, No editing, No Messing, No Fuss - just flash it!!!!!
No need to clear dalvik cache as installer script now wipes cache
Removed some memory wasting stuff (see list at bottom of post)
Added new icons and a 6 way lock-screen to default theme [see attachments]
All removed items are supplied in a separate ZIP file - check STUFF REMOVED list
Added an extra outdated FileExplorer - the older version works better for editing root files
ROM optimized to work best with the xKernel with init.d scripts
Enhanced ROM porting method - Miui ROM now streamlined and faster
Our Miui Rom is mentioned on a "compared for performance ROM list" - along side the FXP team

How to install baseband
Launch flashtool, prepare the file for flashing and only then do one of the following;
to enter flashmode:
Switch off the phone
Press the Volume down button and hold it
(While holding) Plug in the USB cable
If successful, the LED should turn GREEN
now flash your baseband.ftf file
(remember to untick fota/wipe data - and tick 'wipe app' only)
Errors/aborts are caused by an incorrect selection or missing drivers

For Rooted phones ONLY - if upgrading Miui the latest release includes a dalvik-cache wipe in the updater-script
1. copy ROM to sdcard
2. fastboot kernel.img
3. boot into cwm recovery, if coming from a different ROM wipe/factory reset [if upgrading Miui goto step 4.]
4. flash ROM [if upgrading Miui no need to wipe dalvik-cache - all data, settings and apps and data will be saved]
5. reboot
NOTE: you must wipe/factory reset if you have a locked bootloader on the first installation only

Locked-bootloader instructions
After Root & Install CWM : with recommended xKernel
1) Wipe data/factory reset
2) Wipe cache partition
3) Mounts and Storage -> format /system
4) Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik cache
5) Install zip from SD Card -> Then I select MIUI ROM zip file

No Multilingual support for my ported ROM
As usual if anything is not working on first boot - reboot phone and try again or shout for help!
(Wifi will always require a second reboot to work properly - this is really annoying!)
If your phone jumps up and smacks you in the face or fails to boot, you did something wrong, try again!
